Pics of the 68

Finally got some pictures to upload. A couple from when it was delivered and a few after I got the new tires/rims. I still need to polish up the chrome and put on some wax but it looks a heck of a lot better then the day it arrived.

A few more. A very pleasant surprise when I pulled off the valve cover. It is a 100 times cleaner on the inside then the outside

Thanks everyone, the rims and tires really make it. I appreciate the suggestions/opinions on the rims and tire size, the 245's really look awesome on the Cragars. The dynomax mufflers and dual exhaust give it a nice sound, not real loud but throaty.

Still have a bit of tinkering but it should be road worthy as is. The only other major things I want to do is switch out the jetaway for the 350 trans and get a 442 front grill.

I had it out for the first Rita's water ice run and the kids loved it

The 68 looks great

Do you have any clearance problems with the 245 60 15's. I just put a set of BFG's on mine (same size) & haven't done a "lock to lock" check yet. I don't know anyone that's put them on the front on a 68 or 69 but a lot of people have told me they should work.

I had 245/60/15's on my 68 and they fit fine with no rubbing but did come close.

The vert looks great. A little cleaning, wheels and it looks like a whole different car.

It looks nice! Maybe I need some Crager SS wheels for my 68.

Thanks All!

I checked the tires last night. No clearance issues lock to lock. 245-60-15's on 15X7 rims

FYI

I finally got the car finished & aligned. I have an oversize front sway bar and the 245 60 15's rub it.
