front coil overs for 69 cutlass vert

I am thinking about buying front coil overs (QA1) for my worn out front suspension. They make different front end weight kits, how is this determined? This is all new to me and I'm not sure if the coil overs are the answer, any suggestions?

For what you'll pay for a pair of coilovers, you can replace the front springs and rebuild the whole front end.

Coil-overs are an excellent upgrade, when needed. They only replace the spring and shock, any other worn out areas will still need to be addressed.

In my opinion, unless the rest of your steering & suspension is upgraded, you don't need coil-overs. The only exception to that would be if you are ultra picky about ride height.

You may find some "big block" and "small block" kits. That isn't enough info, and are generally based on a Chevelle with factory Chevy engines. AC (or lack of), aluminum intake, aluminum heads, relocated battery, and other things should be considered when choosing shocks/springs. Best to contact a few vendors and get suggestions.
