stiff steering after steering box replacement
put a quick ratio box in the delta,now it feels like my power steering isnt working,steering is very stiff.
do i have something too tight?
is the box i put in junk?

If you have not done this yet, try turning the steering wheel all the way side to side a few times. (Easier to do if you have the front wheels off the ground) That should get rid of all the air in the system. If you still have the issue, then you could try backing off the adjustment screw on the top of the box to see if that helps.

Turn the steering wheel back and forth and find the center. Look and see where the tires are pointing, they should be straight. If they are turning to the right you need to adjust your tie rods to make them straight.

Thanks,I went out and tried to get box centered.You are right,the wheels are turned to the right a little.It seems to be off a little less than a 1/4 turn.I am just getting it on the road.Would you believe i paid 70.00 for front end aliment.The guy was only in business a few months.HUM i wonder why.Thanks again,I will let you know the out come.
