'66 steering column

My '66 442 was a bench seat, column shift Super Turbine 300 car but when I bought it it had no drivetrain so I'm going about converting to 4 speed. I need a new steering column and I though I'd try Ididit or Flaming River for a tilt floor shift column. Does anyone have any advice? A preference?

Both are quality vendors. You can also see if anyone has a oem replacement.

An OEM floor shift steering column isn't that hard to find and you know it bolts in with no issues. Any A-body floor shift column from that year will work. The new columns have the larger upper bowl that only accepts the 1969-up GM steering wheels.

The opening on the dash on a 66 is smaller than the opening on a 67. In 67 they made the column energy absorbing and has emergency flashers.
