Yet another '67 cutalss spring question

We have a '67 cutlass non-air with a big block. I believe it has the stock springs (SB) as it's bouncy. I'm new to cutlasses (cutli?) so here's the deal:

I have no idea what stock rates are. It looks like ~300 for SB? I haven't seen any for a BB other than the 442. I'm needing to know, do I buy springs for a 442? Is that wrong? It has a little rake now that my wife wants to keep. Should I go with BB springs that lower it 1"? Again, I have no idea what part number this would be. I see I can get Moog just about anywhere at a decent price. I have no idea what I need looking at the chart. I just need a part number. If you can give me a part number for stock I can hopefully figure it out from there.

One other thing that may or may not matter. Right now it has 205/75/15s on the front. She is going to 235/60/15s.

There are quite a few recent threads pertaining to springs, rates and where to find them.

That tire should be fine depending on rim offset.

Well, I see for a 67 with SB or 67 442. I don't see any on any of the forums specific to a SB converted to BB. And deciphering springs rates and and charts......I just want a part number. If I have to do all that what's the fun of belonging to a forum?

I've seen yours over the past few weeks. Very nice. I just don't think she wants it raised.

I guess the easiest way to ask this is will a set of 442 springs work and put it at the stock height for a 330 cutlass?

A 442 is simply a Cutlass with a big block. Order the 442 springs.

Ok, and that seems logical. So logical that's what I thought. But all the threads I see about a 442 is people saying they rode higher than the cutlass so.......

And which are the 442 springs? Really folks, just looking for a part number. 5234? Will that be higher? I'm looking for stock small block height. Is there a difference? I don't know but that's what I keep reading here. I'm pretty good at reading charts and those are about 300lb. Don't I need 425?

Maybe if somebody could just tell me what spring rate, height and install height I need I could figure it out.

Its hard for me to believe nobody has an answer other than here's a chart, figure it out yourself. Has nobody done a SB-BB conversion and changed springs? Really? Oh, well. Thanks.

Maybe somebody could tell me the stock specs for SB springs and BB springs? Since I don't know that yet a chart is meaningless to me. Thanks.

Call yearone I know some people have gotten springs from them. I believe they use Eaton.

Thanks for that. I will.

In the meantime can anyone tell me if the chevelle and cutlass take the same spring?

Yes they do. All A-bodies use basically the same type of spring. Watch the end styles.

Well that was easy. Ground Up has the very thing I need then. I will call them and make sure both ends are tangenital if that's the right word. The picture looks squared off on one end but that's probably not the actual springs.
