Steering shaft removal 64' Cutlass???

1964 F85/Cutlass--

Can anyone shed some insight on how to get the steering shaft removed, or at least pulled up a couple of inches.

Trying to fit some headers with my LS2 swap and think they'll work of I could just get the shaft out for install.

Much appreciated!

Update

I found my answer over on ls1tech.

If anyone finds this and is curious, you can either pull the steering wheel off and the shaft comes out through the front, or a simpler way is to pull the entire column.

Cheers!
