Freshened up the front end What are your thoughts

I did my front suspension today I used Moog 5244 front springs and have not done the rear yet. That is next. I did upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, swap bar bushings and links, idler arm, tie rods, and the springs. Oh and new set of Monroe shocks. It was sagging very badly after all these years. It now sits a little up from what i wanted but it drives awesome and rides nice. I am sure it will settle a little. I will do the rear springs next week. Right now air shocks pumped up.

I just have to get used to the change but do so like how it drives now.

I love the stance, looks like a muscle car should IMO. What size are your tires?

Because my car is a factory disc brake car I went with the 70-72 rally 1 wheels and they are 14 x 7 with 235 60 14 I think we will do 225 70 14 on the hardtop we are building

Thanks guys. It sure drives much better.

Old thread but curious if your front end settled much over time?

Good question.
I just measured again. 4 years later she has settled about 1 inch.

Thanks for asking. I had forgotten about this. I just took this picture. Not sure about how many miles since then. I drive it very often during the summer. Probably about 5000 miles a year.

Thanks for reminding me.

Larry

Here it is in May 2019 I love how it rides and drives now.
