Check out this vid my buddy sent me. 68 Olds 4 speed driven down the quarter by Dick Smothers. Commentary too.

it does granted I was little when they were on
what is surprising per interview it sounded like that was his first crack at it if so that's a pretty good ET 12 and change

Berejik Olds

This past summer I purchased a pair of doors for a sport coupe that were from the Smothers Brothers partner in Needham Mass.- Berejik Olds. The doors still have all the decals and writing on them. They are in mint shape and still have original paint on them. My 68 sport is going for a resto and those doors are going on. A real bit of history.

that is beyond cool.... if that were me i'd find new doors to put on the project and I would hang those suckers in the den lol....

Cool video! Thanks for sharing. Pretty good ET for Dick's first run. Watching those slingshot dragsters was pretty hairy. Those guys has some nads. Maddoctor, I agree with Eddie. Find some new doors and save those as they are.

I was wondering if someone had finally bought those doors. They were for sale forever. It would really take just the right buyer at the price he was asking for them. Someone that was going to use them for a old school re-creation. Can't wait to see the progress pics of what you're going to do with them
