Usually we fly into local county airports but we had a walkthrough to look at the demo of LaGuardia Airport so we decided to land there. We have a Piper Navajo twin piston prop. It's CRAZY taking a small private commercial plane in there. We had a 15 minute slot to hit for landing and then found out that you just can't request a slot for take-off (even though they told our pilot we could when he made landing reservations). We ended up getting out about an hour later than we planned but it's a 5 hour drive each way without traffic so an hour flight was still better than driving

Sunrise about 15 minutes earlier than it actually occurs because we were at about 4000'
