Oh hell no, they are not a walmart of anything. Best Buy is the walmart of electronics, Frye's is simply heaven on earth.

We don't have Fry's around here. Never heard of 'em, in fact, but Mouser's got what you need, guaranteed, with no minimum purchase, and only actual shipping cost charged.

My motives here were Fry's often has some really great deals that can make things that may be out of reach normally ..... very very much affordable.

The rub is ... these types of deals only apply to BRICK & MORTAR IN STORE purchases.

Micro Center is another store where you will often find such great deals as well.

Sadly ... neither one of those stores has a physical presence anywhere even remotely near me.

Good to know.

The original stuff in question (was smaller PC related items) is sold out now.

I'll keep you in mind if something else pops up.

Fry's is like Home Depot for a DIY guy....heaven on earth and if you are like me, you should not be alone in there shopping with any money or else you will have a lot of explaining to do :hehehe:
