Added to the stable today! 3 '67 442's!

We took my 9 year old to get his new lenses today and while we were out I stopped by Wall Market to get some toiletries. While I was there I found 3, count 'em 3 '67 442's, 2 '70 Hurst (not even close looking) Hot-wheels, and 1 fairly good '70 442 toy car!

Did I fool ya? Nah, you're too smart for that! But I do collect Hot-wheels cars, but only Oldsmobiles. I tend to buy them all up when I find them lol! I have quite a few duplicates but I've never found this many all in one stop...cool!

Your did have me Steve! If I listed all mine, I'd embarrass myself! I almost thought of transferring to Texas! A fellow rep of mine lives in Houston. We were at a meeting in Vegas in May, and he was showing me pics of his house and toys, and I asked him how he affords it.....then he told me what his 3,500 sq ft house cost and his taxes were! Man I was jealous!

Nice scores!
I wouldn't mind having some companions to my Vista Cruisers.
Just what I needed - a reason to go back to Wally-World. I was just there last week...

Yes, the cost of living here is really low. I look like I'm balling because I live on a golf course lol! But I assure you, I'm not

I scored the Vista's from Fred Meyer a couple years ago when I was in Oregon. They had 2 different designs there and got a couple of each.
After then I was collecting some of the stranger Hot Wheels, like the shopping cart called "Express Lane". And the toilet called "Hot Seat"...............

I have a still in the box, Johnny Lightning 500 race game. With Oldsmobile cars. My wife bought it for me one year for Christmas. I think it has been assembled once when my son and I played with it for a few minutes. Been in the box ever since.

AMT had one in the new car annual kits in 1964. It was reissued later as an altered wheelbase drag car. May not be easy to find now and expensive if you do.

I actually had that model when I was 10 years old.I think I bought every model car kit that AMT and Monogram made from the time I was 6 in1960 untill I was around 21 in 75.Unfortunately when I left my parents home my mother threw them all in the garbage. To this day I am still pissed about it,not to mention throwing out my stamp collection. But,I'm still looking.I have a friend who owns a hobby store and He's been searching as well, with no luck.

I think I have about 40 or so Hot Wheel 442's, and hundreds of other hot wheels. Only car I collect now is the 442. Wife told me I could continue buying hot wheels or save my money for the one sitting in the garage. Still ticks her off when I buy the 442's at Kroger!!!
