Soldiers Share Same Fate
Was watching the news last night when it showed a flagged drapped coffin being carried by fellow soldiers off of a Canadian Forces C130. It cut away to the soldiers neighbourhood where all the houses in the area had small Canadian flags on their front lawns. He was 28 and was engaged to be married when his girlfriend said "Yes" the day before.
So, I switched to a US channel in Spokane because there have been a lot of Canadian soldiers on TV lately who've been killed by IED's in Afghanistan and I didn't want to see another one. So what's on the American news? It showed a neighbourhood with US flags on the front lawn. They were honouring a US Marine who was killed by an IED in Afghanistan. He was 25.
Our kids are dying trying to drag a backwards country into the 20th century, never mind the 21st century..... better end it here.

The National Guard and Reserve guys should still have jobs, as long as they had one when they were called up. Theres a law that protects their position until they return. And us Active duty guys would still have one as well means our full time job is the Army no matter if Im in the States or over here somewhere. So I dont think the unemployment rate would change much.
