71 Pontiac GrandPrix

My brother has been diagnosed with terminal Liver and esophagus cancer. He will Start Kimo and fight it. Only 49 years old non smoker. He has been working hard to get his complete restoration of a 1971 Grandprix SJ Done so he can at least drive it. I think the body work and paint job was about 10k. The thing I may miss and been thinking about is not having a partner to Cruise with anymore. Guess that is being selfish but I can not help thinking about it. Good freinds are hard to come by especially when there your brother.

I hope he beats the cancer. I love GP and the SJ is a really nice one to have. I hope he's able to drive it for years to come. 71-72 is the best years of the GP.

Hope he gets his wish and is able to drive the GP. Sounds like you're a good friend and brother. Help him get it done and enjoy your time with him.

What city and state are you from ? what does his car need to finish? My wife knows a man that was told to stop drinking or you will die at first he said well then at least i will go doing what I liked she was sad to hear him say that. A week or two later she brought home a hemmings book and said he had a total change in hart and said he wanted to finish his 67 coronet he gave me the hemmings because it had a pontiac story in it. They had talked about cars on some of their appointments and he knew I had a Lemans my point is the power of will is strong and I hope he kicks the c words ***.

I hope you and your brother can finish the car. Nothing better than taking a cruise in the car that you know you put a lot of time and effort into. I will pray for your brother and your family.
