Looks like I'm just passing 4000 posts, it's been a good ride

I've been on this forum about 13 years now and it's been a fun sharing learning experience everyday. It amazes me that many here have over 10,000+ posts and still have a life and time to help others in need on this forum, I thank you for your time and attention to this Oldsmobile community. It's been a good ride...... Tedd

Congrats Tedd. You have contributed a lot in that time. I am looking at your 2004 join date and you have been here a couple years longer than me. Hope to see you do another 4,000 posts.

Congrats on your milestone! Even though you normally post in a totally different part of the site than I visit, I have read some of your posts anyhow and I always find them interesting. Here's to 4000!

Congrats Tedd... Isn't it great to have a place to hang out in all kinds of weather... Maybe I'll see 2000 by the end of the year... As for catching Joe P., Eric seems to be the "Top Dog" at this pony show...

Yep, it's kinda like doing a puzzle every morning with some of the pieces missing. Keep you coming back to see if someone has uncovered the piece that allows you to fill in and answer the mystery.... See you guys around... Lost in the fifties ...Tedd

I can remember how elated I was when I got to post 442. Then it was post 1000. After a while I lost track.

Sometimes this site can be addictive and I've had to step back periodically to keep my personal life ... well, personal. This is a wonderful site and it's obvious that the members are what makes it work so well.

I always enjoy reading about what you're doing Tedd.

For now anyway... I think he's the official "CO Greeter" now for all the newbies. Good guy to have as a friend too.

It's pretty easy to rack up 4000 posts in a year if you focus on the keyboard all the time.....

Ideally you should be focusing on the screen when typing, not the keyboard.

Are you kidding, most of us only use 2 fingers and hunt and peck.

Yeah, I am kidding.

Funny thing though, I developed into my own six finger touch type. I look at the screen like I should, but I only type with six fingers instead of ten; been doing it long enough to park my hands on the desk in front of the keys and I can peck them blind.

Congratulations, Tedd!

You're a great help here, especially to the guys with fifties cars.
I actually think you may be our #1 Fifties expert.

Keep up the great work, and we all look forward to reading your 8,000th post!

There are many here who have been deeper into the fifties than I, Ozzie and Redoldsman come to mind but we all work well together.
This site is so different than many others as the belligerents and trolls get run off quite quickly making it a brotherhood of helpers (no offence Ladies).

Had I had more than one A body in my life I could contribute a lot more but alas I'am happy with what I have now. learn something everyday.... Lost in the fifties ...Tedd

This massage was typed with two fingers not looking at the screen.

And yet, YOU did!

4000 posts puts you in the top 30 most active members, Tedd, out of just under 40,000 registered. Of course, just about 50% of those registered have zero posts and there are a large percentage that have only 1 or 2 posts.

Unfortunately, it now takes over 4,400 posts to get in the top 30. 4,000 puts you in the top 40. Right now there are nine members with over 10,000 posts, four over 20,000, and two over 30,000.

There are over 44,000 registered users. 23,000 of those have zero posts. Another 4.700 have made only one post.

... And some of us seem to never even post, but we're still in that group.

By the way, the barn is up, though there's still plenty to be done.
Went through a couple of ground guys - last one walked off without warning a week ago, and took his machines with him, when he thought something my wife had posted on FaceBook was about him (it wasn't). Touchy.

Was just down there for the past few hours with the wife working on some temporary stall improvements. This is quite a project.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I had a looksie at the " barn " you have been working on. That's so much more than a barn haha. You and your wife are very blessed to have each other, That makes things like "barns " come to life in a loving relationship over the years.
Its so good to see our Olds members getting ahead, enjoying family and life. You both deserve it Eric!
You have been a "Super Contributer " here, up there with all the others with those post count numbers.
Let the guys walk off the job and back charge them on in completion of timeline. Get something out of the set backs.

Tedd, Lost in the fifties !
Your a blast to have around here, your humour and contributions are always noticed .
Continue to keep us entertained and up to date on the fifties Tedd.

Cheers to all !
Eric
