Interior Before and After

Nuff said. Looks good. changed the shifter boot. With the Tremec the shifter is more in the middle negating such a big Hurst boot.

Looks good. Should be quieter too with the insulation.

To answer your question, the car IS quieter. Heat, not so sure. It's been really hot lately. The car is what a car should be. Quiet, fast, reliable, and a pleasure to drive. It fills the bill. Thanks for the props. I sold all my stuff except this car because it is my FAVORITE and always will be. I would be buried in it if it wasn't such a crime to ruin a great Oldsmobile. I mean, a 455, a 5 Speed Tremec, a 3.73 12 Bolt, and the car is pristine. What more can you ask for? Better pic of the new boot.

You and I are alike. Yeah, I sit in it and admire my work and the car in general. Love that Delta. Mom had a 76 Royale with the special Hurst roof on it. My Dad put aftermarket rims on it and it just popped!

Might be the lighting but your dash etc appears to have gotten darker (the fade disappeared). Is it the lighting or did you somehow restore the color? If so, how?

Nah, the lighting is just different. The dash and pad are perfect. No restoration needed unlike my 69 I did in 1989. Oh boy. Thanks for the props.
