My daughter is at the hospital ready to deliver our first grandchild. I never thought I would be this excited and nervous. This is worse than when our own kids were born!

Whenever waiting for a baby to be born, it is always a tense time until you hear those magic and blessed words of "mother and baby are doing fine". Always helped calming the nerves saying a prayer to the Lord and his blessed Mother.

Well, we have a new mini in the family. Her name is Joanna Mae, weighing in at 6 lb 15 ounces. Mom and baby are doing great. I can't believe that my little girl now is a mother of this beautiful child. Heading back up to the hospital for a visit and then to a local veterans parade.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I know this is a car forum but I know there are good guys on here that have experienced what I was going through yesterday and it felt good to share what I was feeling.

Congrats Rick and glad all is well. It is different when it is your little girl having the baby. My little girl is now 43 and her two boys are 11 and 13 but she is still my little girl.
