Very, Very Cool 70 W30 Texas Dealer Ad

I'm guessing it was a Sebring Yellow car

Note the hood fit, front bumper height in relation to the tooth, "low" W30 emblem in relation to the center of the wide stripe, and trim rings not yet installed. Looks like it might have been taken during the fall 69 or early 1970 - with Gooyears at the corners.

that is neat, and good documentation of the imperfections. I like the low bumper, mine rubs against the tooth just a bit - now I can adjust it accordingly and feel good about it

Now THAT is a Badd **** Pony Car! Schweet!!

Oh, Yeah, that 442 is sharp, too, LOL! My 69's hood tooth fit like that against the top of the bumper and everything was aligned properly. When I see teeth that are pushed in and drooping below the level of the bumper, it looks to me like the bumper is not straight, or is misaligned.

Now that is funny. The car might still be around and could have been preserved or restored. Considering that picture is almost 50 years old, those cute girls are probably pretty close to 70 years old (near my age).

Cool picture Joe. Thanks for sharing.

Newspapers.com has some good ones but you have to be a subscriber to get the better quality images. https://img.newspapers.com/img/thumb..._3400_5442.jpg

Cool. Nice to see all of those old time ads. Some of them even show proof that women back then don't dress much different than they do today. Always thought they were a lot more conservative for some reason...
