A little water fall
leak from dishwasher has snowballed into full on kitchen demo
as well as upstairs living , dining and hall carpet

and man cave basement bar area complete with ceilings and cork floors
plus the bar and cabinets show " elevated " moisture content Oh Joy

weather could not have been nicer for this. Snow hail thunder sleet rain etc. at least they called off the tornado watch

Bummer! So sorry to hear of your travails We had a fridge ice maker leak last fall that resulted in similar issues.

It could be much worse. None of the oldsmobile parts were damaged

Everything else is replaceable. Just along for the ride now
At least insurance agreed to have servpro do mitigation , so , hopefully we are on the road to rebuild

Well the adjuster came out today from insurance co
I guess the bar has to go as well
If some one can use a bar with custom maple top rail on the main counter top, back bar with matching top Plus upper and lower cabinets again maple accents and doors all about 9 years old... Low low miles on this stuff... I forget how many 1000's of $$$$ this cost it is all custom done , no mass production junk
Lets make a deal,,,,,

At least snow is melting so beverages at the picnic table may be the way to go for the spring / summer this year

It will work out in the end
But I am tired of doing dishes in the bath tub after the first couple weeks


cable tv was wiped out in the demo
so dropped cable box etc off today
i miss motortrend tv

I think the bar and floor was about $16,000 ten years ago
i can not even imagine what replacement for that and kitchen will be???
