The Olds stays in the garage

Well, the tie rod broke on my Chevy Astro. Good thing I was only backing out of a parking space and not driving on the highway when it happened!

That means the wife has her car and I have the Olds that is going to stay under the cover in the garage. I guess I can walk to work in the cold Chicago winter if I really have to...Naaaa, I will just work from home until the van gets fixed.

I glad it didn't brake on the highway that could have been ugly.

I had a lower A-frame snap off at the ball joint one time when I was backing out of a parking space. Yes, I was very thankful the night before I had it out on some back roads. It would have been nasty. Thank the GOOD LORD, amen!

Good choice.

Glad the rod broke at low speeds. I had my upper A frame break off while going over a bump while coming to a stop. Glad that did not happen at high speed either!
