New year's resolution ???
1) Lose 10 kilos ....... again.
2) Finish the house renovations ........ again.
3) Get a new Oldsmobile ...that's a new one!
4) Cut back on the beer ...... again.
I'm going OK so far. Haven't had a beer since last year.

Col I've found answers to all of your problems!
1.) Give your dog up for adoption. (There's atleast 15-20 Kilos right there)!
2.) Lower your standards on the house and VOILA!...It's already done my friend!
3.) You're off the hook on the "new" Oldsmobile...They're discontinued! (RIP DR. OLDS)
4.)...Why would you ever want to do a thing like #4 anyway?! That's...well that's just silly anyway!
Cheers!

Mine
I agree, why would you want to do #4? Well, Unless you wanted to drink wine, i usually have a bottle or two of Merlot or Pinot Grigio on hand and sip this while doing work on the car.
For my New Years Resolutions:
1; Loose my last 30lbs!
2; Read 12 books (now that I have graduated, I don't have textbooks)
3; More time Spent with the Oldsmobile (Work needs to be done before my roadtrips)
4; Not be so shy at the bars, then I won't be so lonely

About 20 some years ago(still in college)Me and bunch of friends decided to make our resolutions. We resolved never to make another New Years resolution.
I am proud to have kept it all these years. It has been very hard.

Don't make them anymore, at my age I don't even buy green banana's. My advice is:
1. Turn the adjusment screw on the scale to where you want to be
2. As stated above lower your standards
3. Buy two everyone needs a spare
4. drink whisky less volumn not so filling
5. After writing this down feed it to the shredder and enjoy life remember its a one way trip

I've been up since 8:30; Juju just up (10:05). IF we can get moving, as it's a BEAUTIFUL, SUNSHINY DAY (cold, but still pretty), might start up both Big Red and the Silver Bullet and run over to the Dairyette for a burger and the unofficial New Year's Day car show (Ferguson and Oates). Probably be upwards of 150 cars there, just hanging out. They don't sell beer (great burgers), but make take a cooler w/a/few longnecks to knock off the edge of the New Year's Eve bourbon(s) neat, as they say. We'll see.

Enjoy the day, sunshine go for it. It's raining here and about 45 degrees. I'll turn up the heat in the garage and finish welding the floor pans in the 48 and try not to think about the rain. First chapter OCA meeting on Sunday have to do my homework since I was elected president this year. Good thing I still remember Roberts rules of order. Should be a fun year with our club.

Citcapp: Congratulations on being elected President of the Seattle OCA Club! Tell the Erickson's and Kosomo's Juju and I said howdy. I'll be up your way in February to visit my Grandson (and his parents, of course).

I made my first New Year Resoluion in 30 years to quit smoking. Other then chewing a hole in the couch and being found on the floor in the fetal position crying like a baby it is going well.
Happy New Year to all.

Chances are you'll wind up on the floor anyway if you don't drop 'em. Been 7 years on 26th of this month since we dropped each other (heart attack at 47).
You're better off ruining a few couches than checking out the inside of some coronary care unit, just make sure the couches are not toxic.
Happy new year, and sincerely....good luck with the smokes.
Cheers

Nilsson - Good Luck. I hope you make it.
My resolution: To put 500 miles (minimum) on my cutlass this year.
ps: I've put zero miles on it in the last 5 as it has been a work in progress.
I think I'll do it this year.
