Happy 4th of July!

Taking some of my Granddaughter's
girl scout troop out for a ride
in the parade in Horseshoe Bay
this morning in the vert. Will take the camera
just in case I see some cool rides.

Everyone have a safe and enjoyable 4th. I'm going to take my annual pilgrimage to Stephenville for their 4th of July car show. We had a huge car show here in Mayberry last night. 155 cars including a whopping 4 Oldsmobiles and a good time by all.

Thanks for our Greatest Country! I am a flag-waving SOB, and proud of it!

I will be wearing my red tee shirt with the American Flag on the front all day today. I don't have to put up my American Flag since I fly it everyday. I will be cooking for the family including a new daughter-in-law and her two daughters. Tomorrow I will be taking the 54 to a car show tomorrow afternoon in Wylie which is part of their downtown celebration. It would be good to see some familiar faces there. A Hurst wagon would be nice Aron. Here is a link.

Wife's birthday
She wanted a kayak
Kayaking alone can't be safe, and they were on hella sale so we got two. And some "frangible" 9mm shells to try out.

Seven turtles on one log in the river- weather was perfect and NOT ONE 'SKEETO!
Mom & baby ducks
Dark blue shiny dragonflies
Train went over right when we got to the bridge.
Dang cool maiden voyage.
I have only ever kayaked ONCE and maybe when I was a kid had a canoe ride.
Very nice being able to skate about on the water.
