Goodguys Show in Chicago

Went to the Goodguys show in Chitown today. They hold it at the Speedway. Lucky for me it is a whole 10 minutes from my house. Very cool. Lots of very high dollar stuff. Lots of older cars like duece coupes etc. Nostalgic cars. They had an autocross track set up and that was dominated by Camaros and Chevelles. Was very fun to watch. There were two, count them, two Oldsmobiles in attendance. I myself was driving a droptop 65 Caddy I am trying to sell.

What an interesting shot! Is that a 54? The paint is stunning. BTW did you sell the caddy so you could drive your Olds next time?

Have not sold the caddy yet although there were plenty of tire kickers. As soon as I walked away from it, it was swarmed. I hope it sells. My father in law is done with it and I don't want another car. The red chevy is a 55 I'm pretty sure. There were a couple of cars done up like this one with the colored glass and straight axle. Just very, very, cool.

I was there Fri and Sat too, wasnt really impressed with the show. Swapmeet was small to say the least. and there were at least 2 more Oldsmobiles there too. A Yellowish 63 very clean original, and a 61.
