I ended up going to the ER Sunday night.I was not feeling well and my husband noticed something was not right.Did ask if I needed to go to the ER and did say yes to take me there.Got there and doctors were stumped.Luckily the heart specialist I work with was there and he figured it out.Was checking out another patient at the time and he figured it was a heart issue.Was right,a MRI was done and shown a hole in my heart.Learned this was not caught at birth.It was surgically fixed putting in a mesh over the hole.Said I would of ended up dead if this was not caught.Feeling a lot better now and recovery is going well.Came home today and taking it easy.Learned I was not alone,my dad and his 2 brothers had this too in their 20s.

Good luck with your recovery and I hope you continue to feel better. I've been struggling with some health concerns myself for a while now and all I can say is that it's no picnic.

My dad's side of the family has history of heart problems and now alert of this.

My mother has a hole in her heart from birth. The Dr said ( after her stroke) that it can let a clot get through and cause a worse stroke. Your lucky a Dr you know was there and fixed it. They just put my mom on blood thinners. Glad to hear you got it patched.
