Boooowarrrrf! I just threw up in my mouth!

I happened to see something nice on tv only to vomit a second later. There is a black '68 442 drop top featured in Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" video. I unfortunately saw him rub his greasy a*s all over it.

Those of you with a weak stomach, do not watch!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GuqB1BQVr4

I am now going to wash my eyes out with some lye.

Adam

I can not begin to imagine the strange combination of events that would have to take place where the end result would be me watching a Justin Bieber video.W-T-F

To be honest it's a pretty nice looking car. Restored better than I can afford/do. It has SSI's, not donked or anything stupid. It's not seen being abused or being driven hard. The car being respected and I'm gald to see it at the fore front. Bieber, however, I have no time or place for his music or celebrity. He was funny in Saturday Night Live's 100 digital short. May not be considered safe for work.

http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-li...-short/1401418

I love Natalie Portman's persona in these shorts.

Quite frankly, if you're watching Beiber's a$$ in that video you're watching the wrong one. There are plenty more body parts to take note of than his!

Bieber is a kid who made it big with a lot of promotion. I saw the video when it came out, but they really don't put a lot of emphasis on the car. Fact is they abuse it by sprawling all over it or sitting on the windshield. It's a very nice looking 442. I don't think Bieber owns it though.

I was trying to look at the car and his a$$ kept getting in the way.

I am sure he had nothing to do with car selection but the props and people and director/producer made some nice choices there.

Supposedly one of the first things he does with it is ..... get stopped by LAPD

LOL.....

That's the problem with old farts. Can't be pleased one way or the other.
I'm not a Bieber fan but obviously the director of the video chose this car to promote a classic style image.

Classic's are used all the time in video's by directors that rent them from classic car owners/dealers.
I personally think the 1968's front ends are butt *** ugly but that's just me.

(Flame suit on)

You don't need a flame suit. You know I will disagree. Just like I think some things you find under hoods are butt ugly. We all have our own opinions and that's is okay with me. Just don't expect me like as much as you. I had a teacher at my son's preschool tell I had cool car but I need set it up with some hydraulics so it can really pop.

I can't stand seeing Donk rides. They will never be cool in my eyes.

I don't like what "music" is today, I am not a old fart, I'm 36, but I think the art/creative side of music lost with the current charts.

BTW has the little issuse with the idiot in the flashing car ever get sorted out? If it had i think I missed it.

Take care.

Adam, seriously, no hard feeling about '68 comment, just don't let Millie hear you Aces.

Well I agree, it's just a teenager thing though, and not meant for our age group.
When we were young , it was the New Kids on the Block for teens.....
I couldn't stand that crap either, but it was very popular.

I had to read that a few times for it to "click" in my head what you were referring to
Halfway i guess you could say, he's got 2 felonies as of last summer.

Civil suit is still waiting......our Federal Judge was just removed by the President 3 days before our trial began.
At least, that's what we were told.....she had a very bad reputation.

Can you remember Mark Walberg used to called Marky Mark? I had the strange musical transition to go from the Smurfs to KISS, Alice Cooper, Metallica (mid 80's version, not now) and Iron Maiden. I have two brothers who are 7 and 8 years older. I learned to like their music. I have never cared about the charts, it has never been pop music either.

My brother also got me into Oldsmobiles. His first car was a '78 Omega hatch with a 305 4V, followed by an '84 Firenza hatch 2.0L 2V. I learned to drive in '84 aswell as my Grandfather's '83 Doge Ram and dad's '85 Buick Skylark V6.

Beeebs and ricers I don't care for. I can respect the ricers for the engineering side but not the outcome.

I will still thank Beeebs and crew for using a Olds up front and center instead of another Chevelle SS.

Glad to hear your family is making some headway and the @$$hole did not get away with it.

Cheers!

Adam

Cool. I'm glad they are showing a 442. First song I've ever heard or watched from this kid. He's 18 and a millionnaire. Reminds me of the young Elvis in this video just modernized to todays music. Older generation didn't like him either, he bought cars and houses for his friends and mom. Seems like a decent kid that's not into drugs booze etc. and still has a good reputation. More power to him....and like Ed Sullivan once said of Elvis after all the bad press..."This is a decent young man." And I thought his name was Beaver!

That's a cool helmet he's wearing in that last picture... almost looks like the black hair helmet on a lego's figurine.

Yes, I played with lego's when I was a kid.

Here ya go Aces.

Here's a few of the concert we took my son too on the 4th at Summerfest . It was not easy to get a decent pic from where we were . I also enjoyed Alice Cooper .... and i'll tell ya he's not getting any prettier !

I have to confess that i'm more into the older , slower rock now-a-days .... as Danny Glover would say .... I'm getting to old for this sh#t !

Even though I dislike this music, it is kinda nice to see an Oldsmobile in current pop culture. Maybe a subtle reminder to GM how wrong they were....

Yeah Alice looks like he's a grand father trying to rock out still.
He did put on a good show still though, so hey......keep rockin it out.

The Maiden shots were cool, I got some too.
I thought the show was phenomenal and we were up in the Pit 10 feet from the stage dead center.

He got pinched last night trying to outrun the poparozzi - 100+ MPH and got a reckless driving on top of it!!
All over the news, and the CHP confirmed he was being chased!!
This should be good - 'speeding for a reason'!!??!!

Hummm, a concert on the 4th of July...a British flag in the picture...I hope they didn't desecrate/insult the Union Jack because that wouldn't be cool.
