Yup! I did - one of my favorites was that red 67 vert. Hope the day turned out right. Looks like there was some threatening weather in the background. BTW, what was class 9? Congrats on the win too...like we didn't see that coming

We had a few of the hurricane's effects come through the area, lol. Mostly just windy and cloudy and cool, we did have a few sprinkles there - nothing much - and some areas got pretty good rain. The sun did peek out here and there, but not for long!

Is that a law or just a show requirement? Nothing against having a fire extinguisher, I've never seen a requirement up here to bring one. I think if I had to bring a FE, it would be a CO2. Won't do as much damage to anything electrical. Dry chem FE's are notoriously hard to clean from electrical components. Of course if it's a choice between using any fire extinguisher to save your car the point is moot.

There is no law that I know of. It's just a policy being followed by more and more car show organizers, it seems. It's a bow toward safety.
It's especially important when the car show is held on grass as they sometimes are. A car that's been lowered at all can have hot exhaust parts coming into contact with grass if it's of any length. That's a recipe for fire.

Even on asphalt, cars at car shows are usually parked close to each other, and sometimes they're kind of boxed in, or, at least, things are tight, making a quick getaway difficult. If a car were to catch fire, it could easily spread to cars parked next to it.
