Replacing trunk floor

I am going to have to replace the trunk floor. The supports are all good (Tank and side frame). I will be taking the body off the frame. I have a olds cutlass supreme coupe. The question is......Can I take the body off before I do the trunk floor? Do I have to do any addtional supports? I'm thinking it will be sooooo much easier doing this with the body off.

I was faced with that same question when I did my 72. I decided to replace the floor while it was still on the frame. The reason was the trunk gave the body support. If you are replacing the floor then you are more than likely going to have to replace the trunk drop down which is highly recommended.
You can replace the trunk floor with it being off the body but then you for sure will have to support the rear of body to keep it from buckling once you remove it from the frame. Also I would use the one piece trunk replacement vs the 3 piece. A lot less welding.
