Is it possible to change body mounts on 65 442 conv. without to rise body to much ...like these guy

No.. I mean if it's possible to change the bushings without lift the body to much from the frame on 65 442 like that

Yes, that's the way I did mine.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think if trans and carb is operating with cable I don't need to loose anything more than the body bushings ...?

My car was on a lift and I used tower stands to raise the body. I left the core support alone when I did mine. You just have to remove the bolts, jack the rear of the body up and starting in the front, slip the rubber mounts and bolts in place. The lower the body and make sure its still in the correct position and then tighten the bolts.
