1970 Cutlass Washer Nozzles Placement Please
Good Afternoon All
Just got my Cutlass back from the body shop. Installed an aftermarket hood. We missed bolting in the windshield washer nozzles and no one can remember where they go.
I am guessing they bolt on the under side of the hood, but can't find any holes or dimples in the hood or the cowl.
If someone would be so kind as to give me measurements from say the driver's & passenger's edge of their hood, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Is your old hood still around? I'd check that to see exactly where the holes for the nozzles are located. If they are anything like my '68, they bolt to the underside of the hood and squirt out just under the rear lip of the hood just above where the wiper arms hide.

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, the original hood was disposed of several months ago.
I figured they bolted to the underside of the hood, just want to make sure of the position in relation to the wipers.
Could I have the measurements off your Cutlass? I would guess they would be the same.

Measured diagonally, my '68 nozzle tips are 14-7/8" from the tip of the nozzle to the outer corner edge of the hood at the back edge, same dimension on both sides. The nozzle tips are just barely hidden by the back lip of the hood if you look straight down from above. A '70 should be pretty close. Hope this helps.
