I am having trouble getting grease into my trunnions. Will I need to disassemble and clean them?

I believe the 1964 was the only year F85/Cutlass put grease zerks here. Have you tried removing and cleaned the zerks or putting new ones in? John

Yes, I replaced them.

You may have to push the front end up and down while adding grease.

Actually, the 61-63 cars did also.

What frequently happens is that the old grease gets hard and won't flow out of the way when you try to put new grease in. I've had some success with backing out the grease fitting and spraying solvent (carb cleaner) in the hole, then working the suspension to loosen the old grease. Of course, once it's loose, you need to flush that solvent mess out with fresh grease. These "bushings" are the metal-on-metal screw thread type, so the solvent won't hurt anything.
