Delta 88 frame cross bar

Delta 88 frame cross bar
I guess my Delta 88 1966 conv. is missing a cross bar at the rear end of the frame. There was none when I bought it, but in the Chassis Manual pictures it looks like there should be one.
So I have to find or build one myself. Does anyone have measure-details of this cross-bar? I think I have to make room for the fuel-tank-pipe and exhaustpipes, but I dont know how big these have to be.
Is it a L-, U- or box-profile?
