Spindle interchangibility for Jetstar 88

I was wondering if, for the sake of actually having a disc brake kit available, the spindles for a 1964 "big" 88 (Dynamic, Super) would fit on a 1964 Jetstar 88. I am aware of the different lug pattern and the speedo drive. If there are any other years that would work, I would be happy to know.

1964 J88 spindles are one-year-only and are unique to the J88. The spindles from the other 63/64 full size cars do swap, with the issues you've noted. Alternately, A-body rotors use the same bearings as the J88 and should slide right on. Simply modify the repro A-body caliper brackets to fit the bolt locations on these spindles and you're home free. I've not yet done this on my J88, and you might need to machine the upper bolt boss on the spindle the way it's done to convert an A-body drum spindle to a disk spindle.
