Eaton coil springs
I was looking at Eaton coil springs both front and rear for 70 442. I noticed they have stock ride height for front along with1-2,1/2" higher or lower and and not as many options for rear. What are your experiences with stock ride height vs higher or lower for a 70 442? I know from experience the convertible's rear seem a little low especially with rear passengers. Rear springs are easy to change but fronts are a bit more work so Id like to get the right ones in there the first time. What would you guys recommend for both front and rear for 70 W-30, stock or lower or higher?

Personally, I like higher. I got all four from Eaton. I went 1.5 inch higher for my '68 4-4-2 resto. I've always thought the stock stance was a bit low. I got mine about three years ago. The ordering interface was a little different at that time, and there used to be much more selection for both front and rear. You may want to call them, they make all their own springs and may still have the tooling if you have something specific in mind. In my signature, the '68 Cutlass on the left has 1.5 inch higher springs front and rear, but the '68 4-4-2 on the right has not yet been lifted. Well, it's lifted... on jack stands, LOL! I'm hoping to get it back on the pavement in a couple months.
