'68 Cutlass front frame horn repairs

A couple of months ago I had promised I would post some photos of the repairs I did to my front frame rails on my '68 Cutlass convertible. It was interesting that the rest of the car survived 46 years unscathed, but this spot on both frame rails was rotted. It didn't make sense doing a complete frame swap because the rest of the frame is mint.
The previous owner made an honest effort to shore up the integrity of the areas, but I really wanted it to look factory.
I am posting these photos to provide some inspiration to anyone looking to make the leap and do the repair.I can tell you it took a lot of time to fit and refit and refit the replacement pieces into the cut-out portions of the frame.
Sorry these are not really step by step pictures, but they kind of give an idea of the process. Thanks to Brian Trick for the replacement frame horns at a very reasonable price. The last pic is of the car before I tore into it.
Dave

Excellent work! I'm sure there are countless hours involved on the repair, and it shows!!!!
