1968 442 lower front deflector?

Hello all, I am looking for the plastic deflector located under the front bumper, it looks like it is a 3 piece setup.

I have not been able to find it listed in any of the usual places, BAP , Year One etc. Is noone reproducing these? Can anyone tell me what it acually is called. Thanks, Darwin

Don't think anyone is repro'ing these. I've seen various names: "air dam" , "lower plastic filler piece.", "front splash shield", "stone guard", etc...

Best bet is prolly a used one....they're the same across all '68 F85/Cutlass/442/wagons/etc...

Probably called a chin spoiler. But they do make a car look that much more aggressive.

Its not really a spolier, just a flat-ish piece (3 pieces stapled together) that fills the area behind the bottom of the front bumper...

Well, OK, it may have a tiny spoiler poking down from it !

I see 'em go by on eVilBay, CL, etc..and everyone has a different name for it...

Here's one (or at least one part of one) now !

In the parts book it's two pieces, the rubber part is called a seal and the plastic part it staples too is the deflector.
There are those tabs with holes in the deflector part, I looked at an original '70 Vista that had a rubber seal piece attached to those holes and then went back, may have been two pieces. The car may be at an upcoming show and I'll see if I can get pics. I've never seen that before or since, parts book doesn't show it but it looked all original.

If you find a good plastic piece, Steele Rubber sells the sheets of masticated rubber.

You can make it look like new.
