Here's a 1984 on Craigslist. It's a couple hundred miles from me, but you might be able to find someone in the Eugene or Portland area who would look at it for you. The price sounds good ($3500) and in this part of the country rust shouldn't be an issue. It's not perfect but the ad says its a driver. He has lots of pictures and his phone number is: 54one-99o-9o59 John

"Nevada car which is rust free.
NO T tops, 1 repaint, Runs and drives good. It seems like the odometer has tripped the 100k mark. Interior could use a carpet kit and front seats and a headliner. Body panels are straight, with the largest ding on the trunk lid. Good glass, power seat works well as does power windows.
Just a good car that would make a good driver/restoration project.
There are new door rubbers and trunk seal in the trunk boxes. The A/C compressor is not on the motor, but it is in the trunk. The console lid/armrest is also in the trunk.
I just replaced the intake manifold gasket because it had a water jacket leak. Now its tip top.
I just had this on ebay and found out that it was a theft recovery in 1994ish. Just the badges got stolen. Otherwise, no accidents. Inside rear quarters are perfect with factory overspray.
Give a buzz with questions and thanks for looking.
This is NOT an OBO offering. This is the price if you want the car. I really don't need any trades, sorry."

This may also help. At least give you an idea of how much you can get for your money.

It's a quadrajet carb with no mixture screws and an electrical plug in. The car will have an o2 sensor and other sensors. The computer is on the passenger side kick panel. It will also have and HEI with no vac. advance. All 83's and 84's had them originally. I have all the parts for mine but I converted to TBI... and I love it.
