Newbie is searching an 68 Olds Coupe

Hello members,

if I have read it right, I have to start up here. I´m from Munich/Germany
and me and my family are traditional GM-Opel drivers. But now the time
has come to step up to an V8 and I felt in love with Olds. I´m looking for
an 68 Olds Cutlass Coupe (normal, supreme or s) or a F-85 Coupe (all
with or without posts but all with auto-transmission) in good condition.
The car should be located in California, because a friend of me (a mechanic
and owner of a 69 swiss-made 442) will be there in April and can arrange
shipping to Germany (container is just reserved). Sadly there are currently
no offers in the web for 68 olds (only convertibles and 442s) . So if anybody
will know one who wants to sell it, please feel free to post me. I´m looking
forward to hear from you.

Best regards

Bob

Hello Jamesbo,

thank you for your help. Does anybody know why there are more 67s and
69s for selling in the web than 68s? Was 68 a bad year for olds?

jamesbo was selling one some time ago, he might still have it and be willing to part with it. I think it was a mostly finished 69 h/o clone. PS welcome to the site.

I think it may be the other way around, '68 was a good year style wise and perhaps that is why you don't see too many for sale, people are keeping them.

Hello Folks,

it could also be a good Hollyday Sedan V8 with autotrans - the main thing it is a 68 located in California.

Kind regards

Robert

This baby's a spare-door and in Caleefornia.

Not a sedan but it's a real cream-puff and could be yours.
