Wanted to buy: Olds Ninety-Eight LS, 1964
OK folks, I am still looking for an Olds 98 Luxury Sedan, 1964, last year for the flat glass and 394, SIX WINDOW Sedan. I am willing to go with a car that needs work, I just want a complete car that is LOADED with the options, and at least driveable. I am trying to find one of these with solid body and frame, and decent to good chrome. Paint and upholstery should be serviceable but needing repair or replacement is OK. The main thing is that the car is all there, in a useable condition, I'll put the rest of the money in it on restoration. I hope somebody out there has a car for me to consider. Thanks to all.

This one does state specifically that it's a Luxury Sedan:

The ebay one in MD is a Holiday Sedan, not an LS, and has a later aircleaner. The expensive one in Jersey is, as evidenced by the door pull and seat pattern.
The other two are six-window hardtop sedans. Odds are they are LS but you need to see the door pulls and vanity kits to be sure.
Strange that only one of the four is wearing its skirts.

Thank you much for this!! Getting on the right track with these, I appreciate it. The Pittsburgh cars are getting close to what I am searching for though they are spartan on the option side. The NJ ride is a beaut, though $15K is stretching it for me. Thanks again and I'll keep at it.

I have a 1964 luxury 4dr hardtop. im located in northern ca. found this classic in an old mans barn at the top of napa valley here in California. when I was shuffling through his collection of beautiful cars, I saw her. a cherry 1964 oldsmobile 98 hard top. he explained" that the original owner(from Michigan) had special ordered a 1964 oldsmobile 98 metallic green on green. he got the call when his car arrived but when he showed up another salesman had sold it. the owner of the dealership apologized, reduced price, and had this particular car painted the exact green color he ordered" hence the white door jambs with green paint job, he purchased the vehicle in the mid 70's with 12,000 miles. he had come into a bit of money and his car collection began. this oldsmobile was pushed to the back of his barn and only brought out for "special' occasions. I purchased the car towed it to my shop and drained every bit of fluid, oil, and grease from her. filled everything up and fired her up. after a couple of coughs she purred like a kitten. I have put about 1000 miles on it and I only find a small bit of coolant leaking. this car is LOADED with factory options-
POWER STEERING
POWER WINDOWS
POWER BENCH SEAT
FACTORY AIR CONDITONING
I EVEN HAVE THE ORIGINAL GLASS ANTIFREEZE BOTTLE UNDER THE HOOD
