1988 Calais Quad 4

Low mileage, super clean car. This car sat for 10 years and was owned by the quintessential "little old man" prior to its 10 year garage sentence when he passed.

I have gone through and replaced everything from the shocks and struts, tires water pump and timing chain because of the time it sat. Nearly $2500 in parts/tires/AC retrofit and servicing alone PLUS the price of the car itself. I planned to drive the wheels off it and did for some time until it started acting up.

It seems as I've lost two cylinders. It runs.. not well. Changed the entire ignition system, and checked compression. Might be something I'm overlooking. I don't have the time or desire to beat my head against the wall any further. I need to move this to make room for another Olds.

Low original miles, clean SC title.

$1800

I love these little cars, I wish you weren't so far away John.

By the way, any word on 'power? Hope it's not down for good...

I hope not... that means I jacked it up when I replaced it. Compression is good across the board. But nothing would surprise me at this point.

I loved it to until a 1985 Salon got waved under my nose... I'll travel for the right money.

As far as OP goes, I've relinquished all rights to the site a couple years ago now. I couldn't afford to fix it the right way.
