1968 Cutlass/442

SOLD!
When I bought the car I did not care if it was a real VIN 442, The Cowl tag says "MADE IN CANADA" That is pretty rare.
All I was interested in was the REAL 442 engine it has.
It has a "E" block 67 400 with its "C" heads only found in 1967 442s!, previous owner said it was rebuilt and is real clean on the inside but I can't verify a complete rebuild but it runs excellent!
A few small paint bubbles on the lower front fender leg and one little spot on the lower door.
Since its a "made in Canada" car it has the better Chevrolet 12 bolt in it.
Brand new 2 speed power glide trans, KYB shocks and rear springs.
You can drive this car anywhere.
Pick up here, you can have shipped after I get cash in my hand but you will arrange all of it, I will watch them load it and I'll send you a pic.
This is really a beautiful car!
*** No foreign sales, if your not in the continental United States do not call, You do not have to be present to buy but who ever comes to pick up the car will only get the car and title after I get cold hard cash in my hand, no other way will be accepted.
CASH ONLY AS PAYMENT*** $15000 absolutely firm price, this car is nice, built with alot of good parts, not cheap junk. No phone buddies, call to get directions and come down with the cash and go home with a respectable hotrod for a change!

It does not have the trumpets out the back, I put new exhaust on it and right now does not have tailpipes on it because it sounds so good, but I do have a new set of 2.5 trumpets that comes with the car.

You could upgrade from the powerglide to a four-speed stick and higher gears.
You own a nice looking car, good luck with your sale. - Steven

Sorry to hear your selling. I know you've put a bit of work into it and it's a nice car for the money.

Yes, it is higher number, lower gear. What ratio does it have now? Limited Slip?
Good looking Cutlass and seems a fair price for it.

Has non posi highway gears, 2:78s. New posi unit, 3:55s and install kit is only $550.
If I put in another trans it would be a turbo 350 and a 3000 stall so the car would be fast.
Im pretty sure it would run low 8s in the 1/8 mile with the right trans and gears.

If you don't mind my asking. What size specifically are the wheels and tires?
They seem to fill out the openings perfectly and that is what I want but don't have on my 69. - Steven

I look at the recent upgrades to this car and it makes me question the money I'm putting into mine! Where do you buy a radiator like this one? You should have had offers in the 15K ballpark with any consideration to its condition. I'll have a good 15K in mine and it might not end up as nice as this, only time will tell. - Steven

Sold the 74 Roadrunner a few months ago which netted me $7500, which means I got total cash$14500 for the 68.
I have saw it running around town and 3 teenagers are driving it and its running like crap because they don't know how to work on a car!
I might be going to look at a 71 Supreme in two days that is in a restoration condition to make a hot rod out of it.
