That's the key for the wheel covers in the pic.

Good eye fdwheelman, I took these pictures before I got the car all cleaned up and ready for sale. Yes it still has the original locking style hub caps. Still price is obo so someone please make a offer, I'd rather sell it to someone who cares about the car verses someone who just wants to do something stupid with it (if you know what I mean).

Some people pay extra for that level of abuse.

But seriously ... The Fiero was a brilliant car, built on a shoestring. GM was terrified of Pontiac showing them up so they killed it off asap .. just when they'd gotten all the bugs worked out of it. I saw a real sweet one last year at Woodward ... the owner had shoehorned a Northstar into it ... and did it so well, it looked factory. I'm trying to convince a friend on another site to load a supercharged 3.8 into his wife's.

Well I was told about this site to sell my olds but I'm part of turbododge.com and I have a 86 dodge omni glh (goes like hell) and a 86 dodge daytona turboZ cs (cs = carol shelby) and I would assume that everyone knows who that is. As for punishment no not really big on that just the lil ol crappy looking econo box sleeper. 1800lbs and 200hp go a long way in the wow factor

Now this is one of my older cars before it got put to rest but I feel this may give you a little indication, and yes that is a four banger.

No comments or fun making of will cause me to not continue to drive these types of cars. I take no offence no matter what anyone says about them.

Amen. At work I get called Clark Griswold, and at home, the 'dk maple' wagon is called "Barney" (big purple dinosaur) .... It's all good when the rubber meets the road.

For the record...

My Delta is my daily driver.

In the Garage is my 2001 Bullitt.

And, I have a 90 Mustang 4Cyl 24 Hours of LeMons race car that I run.

No insult intended.

Car looks pretty nice. My mom had a gas version and these ride like a cloud - perfect highway car.
I fixed the year in your title - must have been a typo.
Hope it gets a good home soon.

"This is a one owner Florida only driven barn car that I'm selling for my grandmother with less than 100k."

My grandmother got to well over 100K before she died!

According to the history books, Olds offered only one diesel in 1981, the 350 (5.7). They began to offer the V-6 version in 1982. If this car has its original engine, and it certainly sounds like it does, it would be the 5.7.
