Nice looking car. If interested there are more questions to be asked and pics to be seen though. It is not 24 thousand miles or I doubt it at least. Front fenders have been replaced, as mentioned the side stripes are not really close to right but aren't horrible. Looks like a really nice older restoration missing some odds and ends, which means someone can buy it and actually enjoy it, though I amazed the first bid is at 70k already. Nice documentation to go with it.

This car throws all sorts of red flags , in many directions .
Visually , low hood fit R.F. , and unusual over spray L.S. of trunk with trunk open picture would make me want to speak with the restorer . 24,000 original miles ? And the classic reference to documented ?
This " feels " like the red and white W-30 , 4 spd . car I looked at at Barrett - Jackson 2013 - Lot # 1314 . Sold for 357,500 with 10% buyers fee incl.
Yikes ? Virtually all of the " paperwork " on that car appeared out of thin air.
Volumes have been rehashed on this forum , and reviewing a similar thread on Yenko.net , just cemented where the 1970 W-30 market has landed .
The Yenko forum has also enlightened me on the different levels of where the 1970 Chevelle LS 6 has driven their market and value . After viewing their verifications on many LS 6 sales , it appears that approximately 1 of every 3 are real cars . The rest are different versions of some type of Frankenstein . There are at least 5 individuals on their forum that spend time traveling and verifying correctness of their potential authentication.
AND , as an add on , if you go to yenko.net , you will see the Blue/Blue
w-30 , 4spd car , that was listed by Stefano. It appears that 300 K was the target price , and they are waiting for funds to be finalized .
It seems unfortunate that the lure of hundreds of thousands of dollars can follow certain specific models with options .
Lee Pearls Gold Convert was beyond rock solid . Stefano's listing was
exactly the same . The one listed above.... Let the verification begin.
It's a cruel world at the highest ends of this hobby . Thx , JT

If it really was all original, and really has 24,000 miles,it would bring more attention if it were NOT restored. If you are going to restore a car like this, you really need to get your act together and do it correctly. The ones that are spending the big coin will scrutinize it,then pass it over for something worthwhile. It may need restored all over again to get it right.
