And I thought my parents' 76 S sedan with Oxblood "Osborne" plaid was loud...that pattern reminds me of a snakeskin.
It WAS the 70s, after all... and the 70s were not exactly noted for good taste, in automobile interiors or much else.

And for decades I was sure my folks had the utter worst sense of fashion and style in the entire country...house painted black w/ brown shutters...Notre Dame t shirts and sweatpants in most colors except gold and blue...and a jagged stone wall INSIDE the house
finally there's proof that's they're not the very worst.
this is a good day.

Way better looking than the office cubicle divider looking interiors cars have now.
At least it doesn't look like the interior of a French house of ill repute like a lot of car's interiors did back then. They didn't call them pimpmobiles for nothing.

GM was trying to test our eyes in the '70's! Here are a few others they gave us:

There's a reason why I say that cars and music both peaked between 1955 and 1972.

On positive note - if a fair price could be met :
Not much drama in swapping out just seats/door panels.
Also a great candidate for an engine swap ...
No Buick V6 or a Chitty 305 to make for extra work when it comes time to yank it out & put a REAL Olds motor in there.
So for everyone that could never find anything nice to say about a 260 ...
There you go.
