1970 Rallye Red 442

1970 Rallye Red 442

Non-matching numbers block (396021F) 455 c.i. rebuilt to W30 specs. Has correct W and Z exhaust manifolds with full exhaust. Dyno’d 354 hp @ 4500 rpm/526 ft.lbs. of torque @ 3000 rpm.
Newly refurbished carburetor (7040653). New radiator, alternator, starter, water pump, and fuel pump. Original distributor (1111982) with electronic ignition.
Numbers matching M21 4-speed transmission (POA07B) with original Hurst shifter. Newer clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and linkage.
3.42 posi rear end with W27 aluminum cover.
Brakes are completely new including booster, master cylinder, hard and rubber lines, rotors, calipers, and drums.
W25 outside air induction (OAI) hood with hood locks.
Rallye red exterior (base coat/clear coat) with black vinyl top and interior, black W30 stripes. Special 1970-only mirrors.
Bench seat with newer covers. New carpet and headliner, and package tray.
PS, PB, AM/FM radio, 8 track player (not installed), and gauges with tach.
Floor pans have been professionally repaired. All other sheet metal solid.
Have partial broadcast sheet, Protect-O-Plate, Olds 1970 Body and Chassis Service manuals, and owner’s manual. Located in Saint Louis, Mo. rgs455@mindspring.com Can send more pictures. Asking $30K.

Since these pictures have been taken, I had the air cleaner assembly, underside of the hood, and trunk area redone. It really looks fabulous.

Beautiful car!!! If I had the cash I would make the 6 hour drive tomorrow! Have a guy wanting to buy my W-31 but I am hesitant to sell. I could almost be tempted to sell to buy this car, almost! Also, your trans is an M-21 designated by the B at the end of the sequence P0A07B. Love that car and color but I may be a little biased in my opinion!
