1968 Hurst/Olds for Sale - Rare A/C car
Posting car here. Currently, on Hemmings and Ebay This car has been authenticated by the Hurst/Olds authority as Demmer # 421. Shipped from Demmer on 6-26-68 under invoice #K29394 to O.P. Mitchell Olds/Cadillac in Long Island, NY. Always garage stored. I have owned this car for 8 years and its time to move on. Interior is very nice. Frame and floors are extremely solid and appear all original. There is no evidence that this car was ever stored outside. A/C components are all NEW (it will need to be flushed and filled). Exhaust is new. The car shifts, runs and drives great. The motor is NOM but the transmission IS correct as is rear-end (3.08) a/c car rear. Also has the ULTRA rare "CA" heads. The carb is numbers correct too. Great opportunity for someone since high end restored ones are almost 6 figures!!!! Price is $45,000.

I didn’t get a picture yet. I’ll get it next chance I get. When I bought the car the trans was advertised as numbers matching.... also it is “correct” being a 1968 ow coded trans....

Nice car. I am smitten with these again after judging Joe Munoz's beautiful example at MCACN. I'm looking at buying another '72 that is in my wheelhouse later this year but would be really tempted by this if I was not already making plans. Good luck on the sale.

I have verified and have a picture of the transmission VIN number - it is numbers matching. Those interested parties can contact me if they wish to see the picture. Thanks!!

Wow. That was a dramatic price drop. A real steal for somebody. Too bad you didn't have more time to market it. Hell, I'd have given you more than that for it, and the last thing in the world I need is another car.
