OCA, NAOC member proudly selling:This Oldsmobile up for auction is the perfect classic muscle car to enjoy the rest of the summer into the fall weather. If you have been looking for a beautiful classic that you can instantly become a fan favorite at the local car shows in your area or you would like to use this sweet Bittersweet beauty as a daily driver then this rare W-30 may have your name on it! These 1970's muscle cars have incredible investment potential, and have been referred to as rolling bank accounts. It is becoming increasingly harder and harder to find a 71 W30 much less a beautiful Bittersweet one with white stripes and elegant Sienna interior with each passing year. Everyone who knows these cars know this color and interior combination is extremely hard to come by, since it is a special ordered intermediate color combination, especially with the elegant looking Sienna interior. See link above for complete ad.

This exact car was listed on eBay just a couple months back and was a no reserve auction if I remember correctly. What happened that it is now for sale again? Some of the members here commented on it. It's not the original engine in the car either.

Allan,

Car sold in the previous EBay auction that ended about a month ago. Unfortunately, the buyer could not come up with the funds. Not engine numbers matching, but is a real deal W30.

John, your ad should more clearly state that the engine is not numbers matching, rather than the wordsmithed way it is stated right now. Not calling you out, just letting you know that it is not exactly written well. Perhaps that is why your first auction's winning bidder couldn't come up with the funds, because he/she did not read the ad properly.

The ad makes it sounds like it has a matching numbers motor - I would have backed out of the sale if I was the buyer
