1967 Olds 442 somewhat modified
Original California car still with original plates. I've had this car since 1991 and haven't touch the body though it's needs a little work. No rust anywhere. Still has it's "3V" head lamps. The only original parts missing are the engine, air cleaner and console.
Motor is a 455 .030 over, stock crank, eagle rods and Probe pistons. Approx. 12 to 1 compression, been using Cam II fuel. Has Edelbrock heads, Edelbrock Air gap intake with 950 Holly Ultra carb. Harland sharp 1.7 to 1 rockers, comp cams 'push rods running a Lunati (30420512) solid cam: 252/261 @ .050,, .560/.560 lift (.595/.595 w/ rockers). LSA 110 and advertised duration 285/295. MSD ignition, Hooker Headers, 3 inch exhaust with thrush mufflers. Complete "right stuff" disc brake system and tubular "A" arms up front with QA shocks and tubular rear arms with ladder bars and QA1 shocks. Rear is an "O" type in which I installed post unit from supercars along with axles. Richmond 3.90 gears. I rebuilt the TH400 using a kit from hughes replacing clutches and bands. Has a 3000 stall hughes converter and it actually chirps the tires when it shifts.Has a killer stereo system with Infinity 61/2" up front and 6x9's in back. Also have two infinity 10" woofer s in the trunk. More pictures and video to come. Have to lash all the valves again since a solid cam I loosened everything up.
Have the original hood that has some damage, the original suspension and wheels with good tires. Hub caps are gone. Have "A.I.R" system also. Interior is all original except for carpet. All my olds parts will go with car, 455 virgin block, oil pans one toro etc.
Going to be asking $27,000.
Great Mills, Maryland.

As you can tell I'm behind on updated pictures etc. I decided to re-wire under the dash, trying to run all the wires for the gauges and the stereo and make it look good is hard. On the health side my 13 years with Parkinson's is literally kicking my butt and slowing things way down. There are nights when i overdose a little which keeps up all night and I spent time with the car.

As the man said, Fremont did not use the Fisher body accessory codes other Olds plants did, which is why there are those big numbers there.
This car is obviously a modified race car, and being sold as such. Many of the "is it really a 442" items are not there, due to the performance upgrades,
and I don't think an interested buyer would really focus on that.

I would have kept the car stock if I had the numbers matching engine. It had a 330 in it with all the correct 442/400 parts on it. Crome air cleaner, correct carb, A.I.R system for a 400, one correct exhaust manifold. It had spiral shocks and even one rear spring had the paper with the part number which was heavy duty. Boxed lower rear control arms and sway bars. I have all the original suspension parts, original wheels, hood, Basically everything I removed. I did sell the shifter and console along with the chrome air cleaner.
Some more pictures.
