This car was at the Kingsport OCA Nationals. Beautiful car, and I have no doubt that the asking price reflects the investment that he has in it. The fact that it's still for sale may be indicative of the market for these cars, however.

He calls it an "F-85 Cutlass" wagon. That's not correct, is it? All A-body wagons that year were F-85 or F-85 Deluxe. The only Cutlasses were coupes and convertibles, I believe.

You are correct. In fact, the first time you could purchase a Cutlass wagon from Oldsmobile was in the 1967 model year. Prior to that, they were F-85 wagons.

That's not an A body it's a Y body. A started in 1964. Also that is a F-85 deluxe, It has full length side trim and the chrome between the tail lights.

I've seen this wagon many times.. Its been for sale, in the last 12 months I've seen it at 3 different places. I think I saw it for as high as 22K. I can't tell how old some of the ads are so I wondered if it was still legitimately for sale. When you see a car in various places for sale its a major red flag, that's too bad because it looks like its a great little car.

Jaunty75, I was just being in general of the type of Olds this one is and there are some others. You probably have an idea of what I meant.
