1984 Toronado Caliente

One of the nicest I've ever seen. $8800 BIN price doesn't seem unreasonable, either.

those were nice cars, they should be collectible although i don't see them at shows or cruise nights.i did like the looks of the riviera of that vintage a little better.

I think I saw this car a few years back at a Sweethearts and Orphans show.

I have thought the exact same thing. These were stylish cars right-sized for the times after the hugeness of the '70s Toronados and still with Oldsmobile-built engines, and you would think there would be more interest in them. Maybe down the road, but I don't know. It's been long enough that, if there was going to be any significant interest, we'd see it by now.

always thought those were a smart looking car. would have to be a 1981 or older version with the 350 not the 307 of later years though.

i think the beauty of them being collectible is that they are excellent as daily transportation, they are decent on fuel, comfortable came with great sound systems and they stop well without modifications.as great as the 350 is the 307 is not a bad engine, coupled with the overdrive trans they went pretty good.
