1968 442 Convertible Apart for restoration

Bought it in 2007 as a driver and decided to take the whole car apart to give to the body shop for restoration a few years back. I had just bought a new top- not the cheesy, factory replacement, but the high quality cloth style that was $1600. The rebuilt 455 (definitely not original) has less than 1000 miles on it, turbo 400 worked perfectly and new aluminized dual exhaust from the exhaust manifold back with proper 442 trumpets. I have an optional fuel injection kit for this car from FAST, brand new in the box. This is not a clone, it is a true 442 convertible with air conditioning and the undercarriage is rock solid as are the quarters in the normal spots where its rusted to crap.

I've gotta get $12,000 for the car. Please don't call or text if you don't understand the value of this car. I can reassemble it in a few days and get $16k. This is the 8th 1968 Olds I've had and can put it together in my sleep but believe it should be bodyworked at this stage to finish the restoration. This is a very valuable car complete and it would be a shame to put it back together without restoring. All of the parts are here, with bolts labeled in bags.

The photos are actual photos of the car when together. It is completely apart now. Everything has been stored in a climate controlled shop. This is a real opportunity.

p.s. in addition to the above, I have quite a few spare parts which are not included but may be purchased separately: 2 rechromed 1968 442 bumpers, a stock front bumper, an entire 68 front clip, a 455 block with mondello cam, lifters and oiling system and a bunch of other stuff.

303- 502-\/ 5249 is my number.

Dashpad is not cracked!

Man, I would love to move that project from your garage to mine! I've got too many irons in the fire at this time, though. GLWS!
