Lansing built factory 4 speed car. Forest Mist/Parchment interior, 390 Posi, Am radio, tinted glass, console, side mount tach. Thats about it on options. Amateur paint job years ago, Its a driver, needs paint, trunk patches, slight body work. Motor is fresh and runs strong. Cool car that needs to be taken to the next level. Pretty correct and unmolested. Factory docs and dealer items included. Other project forces sale. PM me if interested, Car is in N. Indiana. Matt

Gerald, it's one of the "Rare" 49 state cars, but you could always clone it.

I would never live in a state that would require a 52 year old car to have then-state-legal emissions equipment on it and functioning.
Try taking pictures with your phone sideways in landscape format. You're taking "portraits" now.

For several years now, emissions in CA are only for 1975 and newer cars. In the late 90’s IIRC, it was 1967 and newer. I’m thinking he just wants the originality? The only thing inspected on a 60’s car is brake and lights if they feel the need, or VIN’s on cars with questionable paperwork. 75 and newer cars are not as popular here as I see in the other states. You can’t do anything to them. It’s ridiculous, but you can do anything to a 66.

Gerald: Do you want CA original car? As stated above, a 66 in CA does not need smog. Out of state cars might need a VIN inspection but that is about it. I have brought several cars in from out of state and the only brake and light I remember was for a car that had a new VIN because it was a recovered car. So the DMV/Highway Patrol needed to inspect the VIN and a certified inspection station did the brake and light. I don't know of a smog issue. Yes, pre 1975 cars are the hotter sellers here. CA state thinks people drive 1978 cars daily here, but they are few and far in between to see one on the road daily. Regards, Trent in Los Angeles
